Our Mission

Use basketball as a tool to promote on and off the court development of youth ages 3-14.

THE 3Bs PRINICPLE: BOOKS, BEHAVIOR, BASKETBALL

BOOKS:

Academics are a priority for us and we believe that all students that participate in our program understand the importance of being successful in school. During our programs that take place during the school year, we require our 1st thru 8th grade participants to bring us their progress reports or report cards. For those students who receive all As and Bs and no more than 1 C, we will reward them at the end of that camp session.

BEHAVIOR:

IHUSTLE BASKETBALL is committed to making sure our campers are respectful to each other, our coaches, and their parents. Apart of being a member of the I.H.U.S.T.L.E. basketball program is to do a good deed of the week. This means that campers will have to do something non-basketball related to help a friend or family member. They will have to discuss what they did in front of their fellow teammates the next time we meet. This allows us to help them develop personally with positive actions as well as giving them confidence with speaking in front of their peers. We are a bully free zone and will not tolerate any bullying by anyone in the camp.

BASKETBALL:

Our basketball program is setup to teach campers the right way to play the game of basketball as well as promote physical fitness, competition, discipline, and hard work. We will break our campers up into different skill levels. Beginners will start with basic fundamentals and move at a pace that will allow them to develop at their level. Our Intermediate skill level campers will start with basic fundamentals however move at a faster pace than our Beginners. Our Advanced skill level campers will also review basic fundamentals however will have more challenging drills and move at a faster pace. At any time we see a camper is able to move up a skill level we will let them do so to help them continue to develop their basketball skills.
